Getting excited about Pistol Caliber Carbines

To me, it’s one less caliber I have to try to find and stock. I have plenty of 9mm and .45 ACP — and in a crisis it would be easy to find. .300 BLK isn’t nearly as ubiquitous. The ballistic performance of 9mm and .45 ACP isn’t as good but it’s more than acceptable for me

Fair, but I load my own and keep plenty in stock.

I guess in a true crisis I’d be even more likely to reach for a real rifle caliber in any event.

A question for you guys who have a RDS mounted on the Ruger PC's rail without a riser. Can you co-witness the factory iron sights? I have a Romeo 5 mounted on mine with a riser and I don't want to mess with the setup if you can't.

The iron sights do not co-witness with anything mounted on the rail. They barely clear the rail as it is.
