Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

I feel happy. Found 2 Beretta M9A3 magazines that were the FDE and sand resistant ones that match the FDE M9A3 I have. 100 rd box of WBB .45acp and a 100 rd box of .22 Remington Target ammo

an Aero M5 receiver set in FDE

You will love that Receiver. Me and my buddy set up a couple M5E2's a couple years ago in 6.5 Creedmoor. They turned out great. Our goal was to kill a milk jug at 1000 yards. Hasn't happened yet but we are still making progress. Only problem is our guns when finished were "heavier than a dead priest". I kidded my buddy that we were going to have to be like in the old Tarzan films.... have porters. He was all for enlisting his grandson, which I thought was a great idea. Unfortunately grandson didn't agree

A 500rd box of CCI Mini Mags showed up from TargetSports. $60 for it, kinda regret not getting a 2nd box since mini mags are fetching a lot more 2nd hand are hard to come by in store

Yesterday I ordered a Nightforce 2.5-10 scope to go with that stock and barrel that I recently posted about. This morning I scored a bucket of wheelweights from the local tire shop.

Bought an Advantage Arms .22lr conversion for my G19. I have a couple of .22lr conversions for favorite pistols: a Kadet for my CZ75SA, a Kimber for my 1911s, and I had an AA for my G34 (they are now with my shooting buddy). After the previous panic, I bought a lot of 22lr ammo and I can shoot on my property, so it makes a lot of sense to practice with the same grip and trigger.
All the dealers were out of stock, had to go to eBay to get one. I've got several hundred sleeves of MiniMags stashed away, and they will be just the ticket.

A hex-receiver Mosin-Nagant that's been all dressed up in an Archangel stock, stubby bolt handle, scope mount with rings, bipod, Finn trigger and quick release sling rings.
Bore and chamber look good.
I'd never do this with a stock rifle, but hey, Bubba already did it.
It'll be fun to alternate between this and my other Mosins... .

Got Hesco L210’s level III plates to replace the Scorpion Tactical poly level III plates I had in there before. It’s a better plate.

Holy keerist Armoredfarmer. Worried the British are coming back for Round III?

A guy wrote book on recreating the Panzerfaust (with a dummy warhead). He uses cannon powder for the propellant.

I've bought nothing in months except books. My research on WW II sniping is done (almost 180k words and 330 pages) and the manuscript awaits acceptance by a publisher.

I purchased......some engraving on my constant companion for the last 20 or so years. I decided I would improve this gun with NP3 finish rather than replace it. Before doing so though, I had my initials cut from the slide on both sides.

This one arrived today. Its a Sako 85 laminated stainless varmint in 308 win with a single set trigger as an option. Got mounts etc coming in the next few days. Doubtful ill get to shot it before christmas.

But im really happy about it. Bet it will be a keeper..

Traded a Sig P6 with a large amount of upper slide wear for 750 rds. of 9mm ammo (US-made, brass...), about 20 min. ago.
Could not remove the slide's roll pin, using a tiny punch and vice, for part of the total prep. for a potential Cerakote.

Luckily the local Armslist guy published his phone number--or I would not have contacted him (am Not a member of the "new" Armslist).

With five 9mm handguns, it's good to increase the ammo reserve for more freq. plinking at steel targets, because internet people say that "The sky is falling!" :what:, Alamo Part 2  ! I know only two people who live in any downtown area--and this city saw no urban looting--certainly Nothing in midtown or suburbs.

Really enjoying the guns acquired last two weeks: 3rd. Gen. (compacts) S&W 908 and 6904.
