Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Bought a folding brace last week for a pistol I don't own. Remedied that today with the purchase of a Ruger 9mm PC Charger. Found a nice on line price. Not great, but all things considered, it was $150 less than a local price. For those that are interested, the "Compliant" versions of this pistol are EXACTLY the same as the noncompliant, except the compliants have a 10 rounds mag. The non-compliants have a 17 round mag. The price difference is astounding, and I have plenty of 17 round Ruger mags.....

I found and ordered an 8 pound jug of imr4350.

Fingers crossed that its a confirmed buy and doesn't kick back like my Cabelas powder order went.

Seems like it went through without it being a backorder.
Sure would be sweet for my new Tikka,
I'm using it for .300. 30.06 and 30-30 but think I can work something for the PA10 in 308 as well.

Hi...
Managed to find 500 large pistol primers yesterday. Limit at one shop was 300...limit at another was 200. No small pistol primers to be found.
Also bought a box of Hornady .45cal 185gr HP/XTPs and a box of Sierra .375 cal. 200gr FN for my .375SuperMag.
Only had to spend about three hours and visit five different gun shops to find those few items.

I wanted to get some Hornady .45cal 230gr HP/XTPs, but nobody has them in stock locally.

Bought a box of 223 and 45 along with a brick of 22, a pound of 4895 and 1K LR CCI primers on Tuesday. I hit Sportsmans just at the right time - the shipment just arrived. Returned first thing in the morning yesterday - all 22s, primers and powders were gone. Still had a few 223s and 45s on the shelf, but I'm sure they would be gone by today.

Paid a visit to our local gun leather shop....
Put a down payment on a custom shoulder holster and we talked about recent events that will not be discussed here.
Was told by Mark that he will have it completed in 13 to 15 weeks.
Good for him as I thought all of last years gun sales must have helped his business too! ;)

I purchased a FN FN15 carbine today. The store where I bought it has not raised their gun prices. Since I didn't currently have an AR, I figured know might be a good time to put one in the back of the safe. Also purchased a Trulock tactical choke for my JTS M12AK after reading alot of good reviews about them.

This, needed a way to more easily carry my Glock 17 when I go up into the mountains to shoot. Vedder ProDraw paddle

Got around to finishing a Builders Kit upper from PSA.
Problem was matching the Tan color. Bought 3 buttstocks that didn't match. Desert Tan, Coyote Tan, plain old Tan.
Nothing got close, so I went with contrast instead.
Have since mounted a Nikon M223 on it.

Picked up my CZ457 Precision Varmint from my guy. Waiting for the 11mm dovetail to Pic rail adapter from Area419 so I can mount a scope and go try it out. Also picked up three extra magazines. They are all 5 round, so looking for larger capacity magazines.

My Brownells order arrived yesterday. Some PMags and a "0" MOA Badger base for a build thats in the works. I just committed to buying another action. I'll put a money order and a copy of an FFL in the mail today or Monday.

About a week ago I ordered some .38 Special brass on a whim from Starline. I expected delivery in March or April maybe even May which was fine with me as it was not like I needed it let alone needed it yesterday. It showed up yesterday to my surprise (FedEx). Been thinking about some .357 cast bullets and I generally buy my cast stuff from Missouri Bullet Co. but I am not seeing any on their website. As far as cast bullets I always liked their stuff. My best guess here is they are not even listing stuff they don't have. I did notice they had their DEWC coated wad cutters but seemed like much of anything .357 diameter was not on their website. Not like I need bullets but since I figure long delays I would not mind tossing out a few orders and when and if the stuff gets here cool with me. :)

S&W 629 3", box of .44 special, 44 mag
Ordered Desantis holster, Bianchi Speed Strips and Hoque Grips
Took it shooting yesterday, grabbed some .22 on my way out the door

Received a Volquartsen accurizing kit for my Mk IV pistol and installed it. I also got some extractors for them as well.

The accurizing kit wasn’t tough to do with the instructions on line and their you tube video. I did have to use the tiniest key from my good set of hex keys to undo the safety, the small one supplied with the kit stripped out and was useless. If you do try to tackle this upgrade you’ll probably need a vise to hold the frame, a few steps were not easy to do without one. The trigger pull is now short and crisp and about two pounds.

The extractor just replaced one part. I must say that the only issue was removing the factory extractor from the pistol bolts... MAN that was a pain in the rump!

Stay safe.
