Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Yeah, since I live in Washington, several more AR 30-round mags (not because I need 'em, just in protest of Dictator Jay and Silly Bob), several more standard capacity Glock 19 and SIG P320 mags, a few more kydex holsters in anticipation of going to gun school again and again since I'm now retired. Just got 500 rounds of .45 ACP 230 gr FMJ from Midway, 500 rounds of 124 gr 9mm "American Sniper" ammo from Bi-Mart -- don't need any of it, but it's just my way of giving the middle finger to the increasingly annoying anti-gun faction. And to celebrate the recent SCOTUS decision, I ordered a butt-ton of IDPA and "Shoot'n'See" targets from Midway in anticipation of ramping up my post retirement range sessions.

Didn't like the scope that I put on my new Bergara 22 and Midway had a sale on the 4-16X Vortex Diamondback. I ordered 2 for $199@, plus a couple of Stealth Cam trail cameras. Should be here tomorrow.

I saw my first one, in 6.5 Creed last week at the range. I had no idea they made them for .22lr. The guy I talked to had a $15k custom rifle, and was a reloader as well. He said they actually work well. I may use one to close the gap between my 1:7 and 1:9 twist barrels. I found a pretty good happy medium load for both, but something like this could maybe get them much closer?

Please post your experience with this tuner.

I just bought a S&W 617. I have a 6 inch that works real well but I wanted a 4 inch for years and finally found one for sale on another site.

I saw it 20 minutes after it was posted and didn't hesitate a second. It should be here next week. The package deal included 5 DS-10 speed loaders and a loading try. I really don't need the speed loaders, I already have 16 of them that I've been fortunate enough to get most from friends that won them at matches but didn't have a gun for them.

I like to load them all up before a match along with two plastic boxes that hold 140 rounds each. I don't like to waste time and I can be ready for the next stage much faster than the auto guys.

Hi...
Went on a little gun shop tour today.
Stopped at four different shops here in southcentral Pennsylvania.
I had put a handgun on layaway a couple or three weeks ago at one shop, so my first stop was to pay it off and pick it up. For the curious among us, it is a three screw BlackHawk in .357Magnum with a 4-5/8" barrel. Looks to have been fired very little with a barely noticeable turn line on the cylinder and it locks up tight with a very small cylinder to barrel gap. It has not been converted and it will not be converted while I am the owner. Now for the bad...it has a very ugly set of after market grips on it but that is easily fixed. The best part of the deal...it was on consignment for $375US.

I also was able to get a pound of Blue Dot at the same shop for $32.95 and one hundred CCI small pistol magnum primers for $10. Daily limit at that shop for both items.

I also got a thousand CCI small pistol primers at another shop for $80. They had several other bricks but were limiting to one brick per day per customer. Long time clerk at that shop advised me that $80/thousand is probably going to be the new reality going forward if and when they get any primer deliveries.

Nobody else had any primers or powders that I need. Still...pretty good day even if the cost of primers and powder remains high.

Besides the Mossberg 940 that is coming to my FFL by UPS, I have ordered a Sig Sauer Romeo Zero mini red dot sight for it, a couple of ammo cans (plastic), some gun cleaner, a Boresnake and a buttstock ammo holder/cheek rest. I'd get more but the wife is giving me the stink eye.

@Targa, those grips look great! A few years ago I converted my SBH to a Bisley (fairly expensive and a good learning experience) because I found the stock grips uncomfortable. Didn't think of looking for a set of extended grips.
