Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

My wife and I went to an outdoor flwa market this morning, 2 optics caught my eye out of the 4 on this vendor's table, both Japan made steel tube gloss blue scopes, one being a 3-9×32 Tasco the other orco 4x32. Both had 25.00 price tags. The vendor accepted 50 dollars for all 4. The other 2 are both Tasco 4x32 pronghorn one gloss black the other matte black.

I only had 40.00 on me so I burrowed 10 from my wife.

A recently passed old friend's Y Model 12 trap gun. Like I need another trap gun. (TB, TC, BT, 3200).
But, old John was my friend, mentor and good natured shooting buddy and he narrowly beat me way back in the 80's with this gun. (and shells I loaned him)

They were cheap so I said give them a go. The DWA 9-2 deserves a couple of loaders.

***UPDATE***
For over a month! Everyday I've tried to work with them. To soften / loosen up a bit. NOTHING.... Still almost unusable as carry loaders, due to being so tight. Many, empty brass cases of all makes, seated and then locked / unlocked. in the hand as well as the revolver. The are beautifully made and TOUGH S.O.B's but right now they can only be used as range accessories. NOT carry reloadable speed / time wise. So if you want some bomb proof range loaders, Great. If your looking for a combat / defense loader: PASS these by. Fingers hurt bad after almost 40 min to Hr. working with them almost every day.

2 oz ball peen hammer for gunsmith work. Perfect for smoothing buggered up screw heads and tapping tiny pins in/out.
Amazon. Says German made. It seems to be high quality. Has mirror finished hammer face and peen. Came covered in oil out of the pkg.
Steel jewelers anvil yet to come.

Carrier cover for Lee Auto Breech Lock Pro press. $4.

I seem to have a proclivity to damage the cartridge feeding ramp on the carrier cover. o_O

At least it’s cheap!
(It’s the long straight part of the top component)
I will be more careful (he said— for the second time…);)

I would prefer that part be made of a hardened material, but I guess nylon-like plastic is an easier material with which to form a complex part.
