Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Found Federal 215M primers at Scheels. First time I’ve seen LRM primers in a store in about 3 years. Coincidentally they also had CCI 250’s. I picked up 300 215M’s for $29.97 before taxes which should add another three years to my current two year supply of LRM primer stash (If you can call 200 primers a “stash”, but I only shoot about 50 to 100 per year of them). If the price drops to below $70 per 1,000, I’ll buy a couple bricks for a lifetime supply.

Kind of sad to do the math and figure a couple bricks is a conservative lifetime supply :( .
Yeah, but I'm an optimist, so I keep buying. My kids can either shoot it up or sell it after I'm gone. In the meantime, I am going to do my best to shoot it up.

I'm also powder poor. I realized I don't have enough powder to load all the 55 grain FMJ bullets I found on sale, so I bought some more Tactical Rifle for my reduced power practice loads. Iron sight accuracy to 200 yards & enough energy to punch paper is all I require, and Tactical Rifle fills the gap.

2nd bipod, targets, topped off on various calibers from free shipping at 49-plus outfits. 7th range magazine for my Ruger Mark IV.

I had a low end bipod that came with a sling stud attachment that I tied into to a qd adapter I was using on a rifle and it just wasn't working well so I did what I should have done originally, got another one already set up with with qd attachment.

With the recent happenings, 5.7 ammo is now the same price as 5.56 ammo. I bought some of that (5.7). Unrelated, I have also saved more than my Ammo+ membership cost. Very nice.

Couple hundred Large Rifle Magnum primers, which I haven't seen any of in a long time. At the local Runnings, home, farm, and outdoor store. Limit of two packs of 100 for $8.99 each. I'm not real low on them yet but I was worried about how long it would be before I could get some more. Also got 100 Winchester 209 primers for the inline muzzle loader for $17.99. (also at Runnings). They seem to come & go regularly. Sometimes they are sold out; sometimes they have a bunch.

Just used Midway's (wife's) birthday pricing to get a deal on 100 SST 150s for my .30/06 and 500 FMJ 55s for ARs. Been fiddling at the bench lately, realized I had a deficit of projectiles compared to other components. Not rich, but don't shoot as much as I used to, so I should be good until the new panic subsides. Learned my lesson from past droughts.
