Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

A perfect condition has much less character. Maybe this sling was used in Rhodesia (many settlers were retired British army guys) or Viet Nam.

It will be, tentatively, the first sling for my "Century L1A1 (on Imbel)" rifle. If it's not torn up or very greasy I will keep it.
At least Most of the "Commonwealth FALs" used Enfield slings. Sidenote: my rifle returned weeks ago from the best FAL gun smith in the US, Mr. Mark Graham of ARS / Arizona Response Systems. Moderate expense.

Prism was delivered yesterday and must say it looks better in person. OP had it on sale and that was a plus.
I wanted the new Micro, but it was OOS and a bit more expensive, so I settled for this one. Looking forward to zeroing it this weekend.

Only meaningful negative review I read before the purchase was the size of the reticle. Yes, it is small, but I have no trouble finding it when I hold the rifle. Glass is clear and so is the illumination.
I mounted it on this SPR-ish AR for general plinking. My first impression will be complete when I shoot it.

Just ordered an 8# jug of IMR4350 and 500 Sierra 30 caliber bullets from Powder Valley. I wasn't planning on ordering powder right now but rumor has IMR's prices going up and Midway has already increased their prices. The 4350 at Powder Valley was $131 cheaper than Midway's newest prices.
