Most accurate handgun you've ever fired?

I posted this same reply on another forum, but for me it was a "D" series Swedish Lahti M40 9mm. pistol, using lead reloads. I never knew a 9mm could achieve the kind of accuracy that it produced.

my S&W M66 Combat Magnum in SS. my grandfather bought it new in Jan 31st, 1977. he put 6 rounds of .38 through it for a function check and that was it. it is the smoothest and easiest gun to shoot that i have even with full power .357mag loads.

XP-100 in .30 IHMSA and

Ruger MKII with trigger Job, 7x Scope, Eley Tenex Ammo. 1" @ 100 yards.

I used to have a 50 AE desert eagle and could hit a 12"circular plate at 100 yards 9 times out of 10. standing unsupported.

Now, I would have to say my double stacked para gun rights model.
Have to admit my DE 357 is pretty damn accurate

SS AMT Lightning .22 w/ bull barrel and Millett sights.

Damn thing would occasionally misfeed but when it fired it put them exactly where I wanted them.

Stock out of the box: a S&W 4 inch 651 in .22 Mag....used target tapes as targets at 15 & 25 yards....could usually stick 6 inside a dime sized target. Got in a bind and had to sell it ...regretted that decision for a long time,..still do. I'd pay whoever bought it a nice premium over what he gave for it to get it back if I could ever find it.

Smith and Wesson

Model 52-2 Master. Caliber .38 Special wadcutter Bullseye gun.

cz 75b, with an honorable mention to rossi cyclops .357... i don't particularly care for double action revolvers, or rossi in general, but the cyclops is excellent.

Hammerli / Sig trailside 22 4.5" with standard sights, amazing gun, but only a 22. for a larger caliber my H&K usp 45 match clone with ported 6" Jarvis barrel shoots way better than my sig P220 supermatch and S&W 945. benellisuper90M4camo025.gif SDC10148.gif benellisuper90M4camo007.gif

Another vote for the Norinco 213....

I'll vouch for the 213, extremely accurate pistols.

I have two Model 14s (4" & 8 3/8" barrels) and they're simply amazing, especially the longer one.

I also like H&R's 676s with the magnum cylinder. I have one with a 7.5" barrel and it's dead on.

A plain, ol' Makarov is no slouch, either.

I'm a 1911 guy and the most accurate one I own would be a toss up between my LesBaer concept IV and my Wilson Combat CQB. Rested on the bench I can shoot one ragged hole at 25yds. They're remarkable firearms and truley worth the price. You get what you pay for.

Colt Commanding Officers model. It's what I use to qualify with. For whatever reason that thing is like pointing with my finger. VERY second place is my Kimber UC II. I've only had it for a few months, but I think it will replace the colt.

Anything from Freedom Arms!
I watched an old guy shooting his Freedom Arms Silhouette model revolver in IHMSA competition take out 8 out of 10 targets in the shoot off rounds with iron sights, out a spotter! That was 8 out 10 little steel targets not much bigger than a tea saucer at 200 meters! (218 yds). Amazing. (.44 mag)
