I agree, he did lose the finale with grace, I give him that. But did you see his audition tape? My wife was in the room, doesn't even like or watch the show and when she saw Greg's audition tape clip, even she said, "what an a-hole." Cracked me and my son up.

He just seemed to want to stir things up, which I know reality tv producers love, its all about manufactured drama.

No I never watch the drama parts of the show if I can avoid it. That is the reason I've never seen the Survivor series or other stupid shows built on the drama.
Top Shot has too much for me as it is, so I'm glad I did not see the audition tapes because I'm sure most of them acted like fools in an effort to get on the show.
That is one of several reasons I would never be on a show like that because I would not make an a$$ of myself to be selected.

That seems pretty myopic. I understand that on TV the producers want some drama because it makes it interesting and helps ratings, but anytime you throw a bunch of people (some being competitive in nature) into a house with no connections to the outside world - no TV, no internet, no phones, nothing - just each other and a lot of time on your hands...there's definitely going to be some drama. Even if you didn't plan for it, there's going to be drama with that many people and nothing else to do but be with each other. None of them intentionally made an ass of themselves in their audition tape in order to get selected, and while you assume that that's what they did to be selected, you said so yourself you didn't even see the tapes. While in my opinion Greg did make somewhat of an ass of himself, he wasn't doing it intentionally...that was just his everyday ass-like attitude.

I didn't like Greg for a few reasons. One of which was all his crap talk about how good he is then his performance in the competitions was lacking to say the least. One of the MAJOR things I couldn't stand about him was how he was all "nice nice" to everyones face but in the camera interviews he was always busting on someone. Can't stand people like that. Maybe my larger frame has allowed me to be the way that I am but I have a tendency to say what is on my mind to "your" face. If I can't say something to someones face I for damn sure won't say it behind their back. Hate people like that. It's pure cowardice and a sign of bad values in my book.

There is this thing, in men, it is usually called class and in women, it is sometimes referred to as grace, but also as class.

Kyle had class. Chris had class. Gabby had class. You don't need to go into a competitive situation and trash talk your opponents or colleagues, there is a difference between exuding confidence, as Chris did, and trash talking everyone to try to psych them out.

Class is rare, most people don't have it. I am glad that the guy who won does seem to have it.

While you are correct that I did not see the tapes, I've read about other peoples opinions on how they were, and in some cases at least, it sounds very much like they tried to stand out or do things they thought would get them selected. By your own admission Greg did this, though you attribute it to his personality.
Yet that did not come across in the show from what I could see. The poster accusing him of being a macho guy did not seem to hold water from my perspective. He seemed goofy, and overly sensitive which certainly is not the typical attributes for a macho guy.

Granted he is big so his size alone probably can intimidate some people into thinking he was trying to be tough, but he seemed soft to me.
This is of course all our different perspectives which vary based on our own personalities and life experiences.

All I know is that he was gracious in defeat, and although he did not seem like one of the best marksmen, he proved himself worthy of reaching the finals within the confines of the competitions parameters.
