Where did you get that cheek riser on the pc carbine? I could use one of those for my savage mk II fvsr...
Thanks!
I posted this in another thread but I recently refinished the wood on the SA-22. I never grew to like the original butterscotch colored walnut, so I stripped it, added some alkanet root stain (a dye, actually, but people call it a stain), and finished with Tru-Oil. And re-cut the checkering while I was at it.I agree the little SA-22 is a fun gun. I like the slightly darker wood on yours. My 1970 model has very light walnut, and it'd "bothered" me for years -- just too butterscotch-looking in person to suit me. I'm currently in the process of refinishing the stock and forearm using some Alkanet root dye to darken it and help bring out the grain feature. We'll see how it turns out, but I think I'll like it better.
Originally it looked like the forearm in this photo (the stock is catching light differently here and looks darker to the camera than in person):

I am sorry @American_Fusilier I didn’t see your question until today. That cheek pad is from MCARBO. Unfortunately they are out of stock now. They don’t even have it listed now.
Here’s my M1 Garand with the SFAR in the background.
