What is you "Fun" gun choice?

Hoo boy, that is a toughie.

I gave this one a bit of thought. I finally decided that I have had so much fun over the decades, with so many different guns, that I doubt I could even narrow it down to just 10 “favorites”,” much less one.

Stay safe.

For pure unadulterated fun I'd say my .458 SOCOM and .50 Beowulf AR15s. They really serve me no purpose other than just blasting targets. If I want a bigger bullet than I usually use for hog hunting I'll use the .450 Bushmaster. The other two above are just for when I feel like making a lot of sturm und drang.

Two days after my first post on this thread I bought a Ruger SFAR .308 Win. with a 16” barrel. I test fired it with back up sights then mounted a Leupold Vari-X 3-9x33 compact scope on Warne QD rings.

This gun is definitely a fun gun.

I agree the little SA-22 is a fun gun. I like the slightly darker wood on yours. My 1970 model has very light walnut, and it'd "bothered" me for years -- just too butterscotch-looking in person to suit me. I'm currently in the process of refinishing the stock and forearm using some Alkanet root dye to darken it and help bring out the grain feature. We'll see how it turns out, but I think I'll like it better.
Originally it looked like the forearm in this photo (the stock is catching light differently here and looks darker to the camera than in person):

I posted this in another thread but I recently refinished the wood on the SA-22. I never grew to like the original butterscotch colored walnut, so I stripped it, added some alkanet root stain (a dye, actually, but people call it a stain), and finished with Tru-Oil. And re-cut the checkering while I was at it.
