If you were to buy another 9mm what one would you want? What one is your favorite?

Tough Call, I love my SIG P228R, but my pal's Browning High Power is pretty awesome as well. Now if they could just both have that delightfully different H&K magazine release...

Man, you just had to ask. I've been tossing around the idea of some used police trade-in from the likes of SOG or CDNN. I've been eyeing the S&W 5609 due to the price, but I've got my heart on a FNP9 as well.

My favorite is the Hipower... I tend to naturally gravitate towards the classics.

my favorite : hk p7

of the ones listed : browning hi-power

if i were to buy another one i would like a sig p210

FWIW:

Surprisingly I guess I prefer the S&W CS9.

Before I bought mine (NIB) I read where the grip is too "fat" for some folks and a person should hold one before buying one just for that reason, but I didn't, and lucked up in that the CS9 fits my medium sized paws perfectly.

And to Snowdog:

I have both the 5906 and a CDNN "A" grade P7 (three actually), and I love them both, but they are completely different pistols... The 5906 is heavy, but makes for a wonderful home defense choice, (I put CT's on mine), while the HK P7 actually works well for a cc choice even tho it's a bit heavier than the plastic guns.

I think the HK P7 is one of the highest quality pistols I've ever owned, and is absolutely tack driving accurate...

I love my 5906, but they are pretty plentiful in the availability pipeline while the HK P7's are gonna be harder to find as time passes. I would buy a P7 first, then save for a 5906. Both are fine pistols.

I would recommend an "A" grade P7 if you can find one, and be sure and try and get an extra magazine or two. (or 6, like I did). Mags are expensive, and hard to find, but should last a lifetime, they are extremely well made as is the pistol itself.

Just personal opinion, no offense to those who might disagree.

Best Wishes,

Jesse

P.S. Here's a photo of the 5906.. Great for guarding the castle at night. :D
