What's your favorite 9mm and why? If money was no object and you could only have one, which one would it be?

-Enigma

Ask me 4 months ago it was hands down my CZ P-01. Now, after many rounds through my new CZ SP-01 Phantom...I don't know.

If money were no object, it would be a CZ Pro Tek 1 custom from czcustom.com.

I'm very happy with my stock 1982 Browning Hi Power. My CZ75B comes in second.

Why? Because.

Money no object, my 9mm of choice would be a Wilson Combat CQB Compact in 9 with an all steel frame. Why, I absolutely love my Wilson CQB Compact .45 of the same configuration, the extra weight from the all steel construction would help to tame the felt recoil to a degree, and I have had NO issuese whatsoever with my .45 Wilson CQB Compact.

My other 9mm choice is the Springfield EMP which I presently own and carry on occasion when I need something lighter than my CQB Compact or TRP. Again the gun is dead nuts reliable, it's accurate, it's a platform (1911) with which I am very comfortalbe, and my particular specimen of EMP 9 has gone bang EVERY SINGLE time I have squeezed the trigger without exception, and the bullet has gone where it was supposed to go.

But of course... BHP! I kinda like my Sig 226, but the High Power would be the 9m/m I would keep no matter what.

Dang, so it looks like Hi Power and CZ are top competitors. I can't afford the Hi Power, but I do like the CZ-75 :D. I'm guessing you guys aren't huge Glock fans :D?

EDIT: Just added a poll. The Browning Hi Power seems popular, but I can't afford it so it was excluded. Sorry if your favorite pistol isn't in the poll, but please still post it. I would like to keep my options open, but these are 5 of the pistols that I'm interested in at the moment.

Thanks,

Enigma

Ruger SR9 why? cuz it has better safety features for accidental discharge or dropped. i like the manual safety, it gives me more peace of mind then the Glock with just the trigger safety.

2nd choice XDm.

I own Glocks, I like Glocks.
But Glocks are tools.
If I was limited to just one pistol, a Glock wouldn't be it.

Well then what would it be? The poll is optional. Ignore the poll if you want to. I am just asking you guys what your favorite 9mm pistol is. Period.

Out of those choices it's the Beretta, in truth it's the S&W 5906 tied with the Beretta 92 for favorite full-size 9mm.

Of those options: SR9
Overall though, I think I like XD and XDM pistols better. The Smith M&P's feel pretty good too...

Should have had more options on this one brother!

CZ75 P-01 by far.
Ergonomics are great - especially for a double-stack mag, excellent pointability - this pistol makes me look good.
Small, fairly light with the alloy frame, lightrail, & has a hammer.
Won't jam - I've fed it every type of ammo I had on hand including some 60gn Magsafes, it'll cycle everything (haven't tried any snake-shot yet).

My favorite, STI Trojan 9mm 1911, my favorite on your list would be a Glock (G34, G17), Beretta nice but I disllike where the safety is located ( use to own ). CZ are good pistols but out of the box the triggers are cheap feeling (I own a PCR). Ruger makes a fine revolver (I have a GP100 it is my only revolver I have left).

Of all the 9mm handguns I've owned, the CZs shoot best for me. The current CZ in my safe is the SA only, with a trigger that rivels the best 1911 trigger I have felt:)

None on the List

Walther P99AS, Walther PPS, Sig P226, FNH FNX 9, & HK P30L.

Va herder
