What is your favorite 9mm?

I think you have your answer. Not a Glock.

If I could pick any gun and money was no object I would have to pick the Korriphilia HSP 701.

The S&W 952 also has me intrigued.

Since money is an object for right now my top five would be:

1) HK P7M8

2) Walther P5

3) CZ SP-01 Shadow Target

4) Kahr K9 Elite

5) S&W 3913


Remember this is my list and while polymer guns have their place, metal guns are by far my favorite. There is just something about how a metal gun feels in your hand that polymer can never replace.

You just listed Glock in your poll? It would be interesting to see a comparison between the G19 and G26? It would also be interesting to see how many would choose the Ruger SR9 over the SR9c too??

I’m looking at the Glock G26 and G19, I was considering the Ruger SR9c but it has too many doo-dads for my taste. And the Glocks have a plethora of after market accessories too.

I am leaning towards the G26 over the G19 because though they are close in size, the G19 being a bit larger in length and height … IMHO you can make the G26 BIGGER by using a higher capacity magazine … but you can’t make the G19 SMALLER to help conceal it because of its larger physical size …though YMMV depending on your choice of holster and attire.

You'll own both eventually.

I went with the 19 first. The 26 is next. While I find the 19 just fine to conceal in shorts and a t-shirt, I still wouldn't mind a 26. Most of my holsters and all of my mags will fit the 26, anyway.

I entered SR9, which is not exactly true.

My favorite is my SR9c. Great little gun!!!

Glocks just rock!

The glock is accurate and goes bang every time. I have not had experience w/ the others but would like a CZ eventually...alot of good buzz about the CZ75 series.

But Glocks are tools.
If I was limited to just one pistol, a Glock wouldn't be it.

What does this post have to do with the thread title? What's your favorite 9mm? It's amazing how people get into it about Glocks when a thread title is about something entirely different.
