Yeah. I check in on the ASP channel once in a while. Pretty much every video where a targeted person begins shooting back, all the bad guys tend to scatter. Not everytime, but almost.
73 year old store owner stops robbery. From ASP.
This is NOT to suggest anyone should rely solely on a 5 shot. It was enough in this case and shows having a firearm is key to winning a gun fight.
Of note is the police were there before the robbers got away, but the near presence still wasn't...
Have a 3-10x.
I wish someone would make a high quality 4x or 6x. I used to do Leupold, but the glass and brightness just isn't there. Saw one of Leupolds $1400 4x scopes. Looked just like my $299 4x with a different reticle and cds turret.

While I don't subscribe to the SC movement, the cop should've known if...
Used to have a Taurus 650CIA which was pretty good. Now carry 38's in small revolvers.
The Texas Heritage makes carrying a 3" or 4" GP100 pretty comfortable.

With your original post I was thinking you were fine with those speeds and accuracy. That said, my '06 load is the 57 of H4350 (2850 fps from a 22" barrel) as has been mentioned.
