Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Currently sitting in Armenia for work, but I still managed to take advantage of a couple Halloween sales!

Have an SLR Rifleworks 8.5 Helix forearm inbound along with a set of Scalarworks BUIS for my AR pistol build.

They should (might) be waiting for me when I get back. Those are the last 2 parts I require to make the gun functional. All that remains are Optic/Mount, WML/Mount. I'll finish them off during either the Veteran's Day sales or Black Friday.

Then it's on to the next "project".

Traded my PPSm2 for a XDS 9 mm. Now I have two SA's. Nothing wrong with the PPS though just like the xd's. Only lost $53. from price of the PPS that I paid in Dec. My be dumb but oh well.

More ammo. Some should have arrived today but the UPS driver was too lazy to ring the doorbell.:cuss:I get to go to a UPS Access Point tomorrow to pick it up.:fire:

Two Bradley ivory bead front shotgun sights, a Morgan recoil pad and a hundred 124 grain 9mm bullets.

Hoping to take delivery of a new Henry Single Shot in .357 magnum this afternoon ...

Edit: Got it! Pics in the Rifle forum.

I bought six mainspring housing pins for the 1911 yesterday. Seems I lost one yesterday and needed to replace it.

Nice! I have that Trijicon in red dot! They have a new green dot --- is that what you have?
I need some of those deplorable and extremely right wing stickers!

Ammo. A 500 rd brick of Aguila CPRN HV .22LR and 500 rds of Fiocchi Jacketed Soft Point .22WMR.

Several separate orders. IIRC, in total:
  • PD buffer, which didn't fit my older model...
  • ...so some Wilson 1911 buffers (which work great)
  • Also a new recoil spring for same
  • And it may be more like 5 days ago, but a magazine for the same
  • Some 5.56 target ammo to pad one small order, and because sometime I want to see how accurate the carbines are when you really work it
  • A (cheap) 9 mm laser trainer cartridge for other guns, like the Kahr. I love my SIRT, but it doesn't emulate every gun, every sight setup.

My midterm election jitters led me to buy a gun, one of them high volume ass-salt pistols, a STI 2011 Eagle. Discontinued by STI, I was glad to find a bushing gun I can shoot in IDPA as well as USPSA.
Ordered in from out of state, they say it will get to my dealer in time for the Armistice Day match here.

Bought a Bushmaster "Quick Response Carbine" last friday. 16" thin barrel, no front or rear sight. Came with generic red dot sight that seems decent if inexpensive. I plan to put a quad rail forend on it, change out actuator for a large one (I hate the generic tiny cheapo ones that usually come with ARs). Also, a Magpul pistol grip will replace the supplied standard grip.
I will probably try out a number of optical sights on this weapon.
