In the event of zombie attack, what gun would you want at your side? Also, what other auxiliary gear would you try to obtain?

Personally, I think I would want a Browning Hi-power with a bunch of ammunition. A fire axe would also be pretty handy.

The P-35/bHp was used to good effect against Zombies in "life force". Another good brit Flick.

Me, I gotta go with a 12 guage pump, a good 1911 .45 and an early M-16 (ya know, it traditional to slay Zombies with M-16 A1's):D

Question? These Zombies only die with head shots right?

Why a 12ga and not a .22 with one of those 50rd teardrop mags in lets say a Ruger 10/22? I could carry more ammo then right?

Maybe a Chainsaw too! Also I'd save a cute girl from her Zombie boyfriend and we will hold up in the Matress dept.

:D

Shopping cart? Chris, is that for all your magazines?:D

I saw Night of the Living Dead or whatever as a kid. Those movies never frightened me. "Why don't they just use their guns?" Never understood Hollywierd, must think we in the provinces are all a bunch of panicked sheep or something.

I'd want a couple of flamethrowers, plenty of gasoline, road flares and a bunch of buddies with shotguns. Maybe something like a 113 track, or those IFVs with the big tires (8 wheels I think) from Dutchland or Suid Afrika. Tow a trailer full of ammo for the M2.:D

On second thought, I want something wheeled like those Dutchie things. Better road speed. Can you hook a trailer to them? Anybody know? Maybe Marko the Moderator? Maybe he was LPC though?

I'd use the same for bears.

That's easy.

Double barrell 12 gauge shotgun.

Chainsaw

"This is my Boomstick!"

:D

I'm thinking I'd want an AK-47. Larger cartrige than AR-15/M-16, Better for zombies. Unless they were wearing body armor.

Guys, guys you aree all off base...zombies attack em masse and are very slow...you cant carry enuf ammo to get em all,and its impossible to head shoot em with the AK 47s ya guys have (and the way you shoot:neener: )..

Nope old WA is waaaaay more experienced in Zombies than any of you (I went to Haiti once)...Im taking one of them them tanks or bulldoxers with the chain flails in front used for clearing mines...they were actually designed for mass zombie mashing, but the army has put them to altrnative uses...

Something capable of dis-membering would be good. I'm thinking 10 guage or a CAWS. Anyone remember the Close Assault Weapon System program? Made a twitchy full auto 12 guage with a 20 round box mag. Or the fantasy 5 barrel rotory chaning-gun 12 guages from Split Second. They're a little big though.

White phosphorus grenades. Need lots of the Willie Petes. CBUs of all shapes and sizes dropped from an A-10 or B-52 would be good too. Fuel air bombs are another good one. If I'm stuck on the ground make mine an M2 Bradly :)

Just wear you some good plate armor, or something that the zombies can't chew through. It's not like they have longbows or firearms, so as long as they can't bite you, you're good.

Then just get a big ol' axe or sword, and start choppin'.

McCormic Reaper!

Kinda like a powermower with an ATTITUDE! Back it up with anything with hicap mags and several dogsleds of ammo.
Anyone know if a watergun full of Holywater would work on Zombies?:D

I love these threds :D

I'd have my trusty G17 w/ about 10 stardard cap. mags, ono of those black synthetic M1A's w/ lot's of .308, and my SRKW Battle Rat.... maybe a good spear as well.

I think a pistol would be the ideal "anti-zombie" tool, given the zombies slow speed and very limited attack range. M1A to clear a path, G17 to clean up.

Ol' Badger hit it. A .22 rifle, just like giving head shots to eatin' cattle. Add super-duper capacity magazines and a low power scope or red dot.

...And maybe a Katana for up close and personal beheading. :)

A very low yield nuckear bomb...hahaha!! And preferably, one that I can activate 100 miles away!!!

Also, some plate armor like Oracle said..and a very bad a$$ knife!! If they can´t bite, I will show em who is top dog in my town!

Every gun-nut who says "why don't they just use their guns" when watching zombie movies needs to watch Dawn of the Dead. Best zombie movie eva!!! Little campy being made in the 70s I take it, but the remake that is being made should be ever better...

Anyway, I'd use a Saiga 12 gauge along with a 5.45 caliber AK if I coudl procure the ammo, a standard 7.62 model if not, and a good hicap pistol. I think the shotgun would be very useful for larger groups of zombies, remember you don't have to kill them with a headshot, their mobility is limited/zilch after you blast them apart pretty good with a shotgun giving you time to escape or whatever... Finish the immoblie ones off at your leisure with your pistol if they're in your compound and might pose a slight threat/annoyance (I'm thinking a Mall like in Dawn...) I think I'd snag something like a scoped M1A for longer range headshots from a safe position too. Oh yeah, and you gotta have a melee weapon, I think a nice Katana would work, how about a repro of the Highlander sword. What better to behead zombies with? lol...

Give me a 12 Gauge, molotov cocktails, and a crowbar. (I'm a Half-Life fan)

If I could have absolutely anything I wanted, I'd go for a Hummer with an M2 on top.
