I have two T\C .45 Patriot pistols, both beautiful guns but packed away so no photos. Double set triggers and excellent sights. My favorites for when Spring finally arrives.

Starter52, when you get them out be sure and post some pictures here. We'll be looking forward to seeing them.

Here's one of my single-shot pistols, this one's a home-built .45 that I put together on an H&A underhammer action.

Steve, I really like your Hopkins and Allen underhammer pistol (good design) with the long barrel and specialized target sights, with the exception of the pistol grip, but I am sure it has a distinct purpose for you. I am not denigrating it a bit because I have seen photos of custom, one-of-a-kind target pistols (single-shot or multi-shot) that are built for one purpose: to put as many shots close together into the 10 ring as possible, slow fire. For example:

I have photos of many others.

There must be a small fraternity of shooters who do this, and as I am not a party to this type of shooting, I would like to learn more, but could not do it on my old man budget.

There must be an organization that sets the rules for the action type (flintlock, percussion, or centerfire) for competition and there appears to be nothing on this forum or other forums I visit concerning this.

If you have more info, start a new thread here and we will all learn more.

Thanks for posting your unique pistol.

I am sorry, but this probably the wrong forum to post this, but he opened the door.

Jim

Yeah, Maint, I DID go back to the pawn shop to get that Pocket Ace, and it was sold! Missed a chance to add a BP gun to the safe, and join a new club, for $49.95...So, I'll mentally add that $49.95 to the fund to buy the Harper's Ferry .58 I really want!

Brad, you be sure to post pics of that Harpers ferry when you get it! I want to see more of it.

Heck with that,I want to shoot it!

Does anyone know where I can get an internal trigger spring for an H&A? I have another boot pistol, in .50 caliber, that needs that part to function.

Pete D.

I like all three of your single shots, especially the Kentucky flintlock and the custom built, percussion under hammer pistol!
