I'm sorry, when i read your post, id came off a bad day at work and just took more offense to it than i should. I respect your opinions, and everyone elses, hell im just glad i even have the opportunity to talk to others on a subject that actually intrests me.
I'll just agree to disagree on this one, because truthfully, at ranges like this, i would rather have a shotgun anyway, because this really seems like there are better tools for the job in this case than a rifle.

I think a shotgun's a great choice for anyone with a little experience. In fact, for me, it or an M-4 (hate to admit it, he-man AR hater that I am) would probably be the best choice, because I have more experience with those two than anything else.

im happy we can both come away smiling on this one, unlike the other one in the hangun:gen discussion forum. btw, does anyone know how i can see what the last few responses were for that one? you know, the one talking about 50 cents experience with firearms?
I know it was shut down because of a heated arguement between me and arinvolvo about political beleifs, but i did not get the opportunity to see how i was responded to. Dark Tranquility, Feanaro, could you possibly explain what was said to me after i made my last response?

John, as I have 0 knife fighting skills I would take the .22. However can I put a bayonet on it?
My suburban rifle is a Vepr K in 7.62x39 or an L1a1 in .308. Funny those are the same as my urban, rural, forest, mountain, SHTF, subterranian, strotospheric, and underwater rifles as well!
