TX
If you can get unlicensed carry in some form, good for you. Otherwise, licensed open carry would good like we have in TN. I've always thought ironic, that TX, (thought of as a gun-friendly state) bans open carry.
Groups
I really don't have gripes with wwners who bash organizations aren't necessarily the problem. They may not be members of a group, but that might not stop them from contacting legislators/doing things to promote the 2A on their own.
The people who are the problem are the "ownership...
Neighbors
I don't tell everyone, but if it comes up in conversation, then I'll say something.
My neighbor hunts, and he knows I work in security, so there are some pro-people. I have another who knows about my line of work, but advocates stricter laws (anti.) Then there are others, I don't...
Volume
Hmmm. I haven't had that type of conflict before. I have draw attention, though. Once while shooting .357 Mag loads. People a few lanes over, wanted to know what the loud gun I was shooting. I told them, let them take a few shots with my gun, and that was the end of that.
Silencers
I don't have one but think they are a good idea for hearing protection. I especially think they would be good in indoor ranges. I've been at ranges with 2 layers (foam plugs in ears with muffs on top) and still the noise was loud.

Yes, enforcement was dependent on the executive branch, but the NG worked with the 101st. Initially, Gov. Faubus tried using the guard as an obstacle, but then the President took over the NG.
the President ordered the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army to Little Rock and...
Enforcing a Ruling
Another way is via the military. (Ex. See National Guard being used to enforce integration of Central High School in Little Rock, AR).
TexasRifleman
I'm watching because I do not fully trust any 1 network, hence watch them all to get the whole story and don't forget the grains of salt. ;)
Bias
What ? :what:  6' long ? That's an assault snake!! They must be banned. Think of the children. ;):D:D:D
Actually, good for you. (I'm not into snakes but I'm okay with them as long as I don't get bitten.) Anyways, more bias from CNN. They showed a segment with man who was...
Chief Lanier
Typical nonsense from an unelected official. BTW, on what grounds do you plan on prohibiting semi-automatics, Chief ? I believe your gun possession laws were just struck down.
