Emma. Believe or not, it's the Finnish nickname for the Russian DP (Degtyarev) light machine gun.

I knew a steward-sailor in the Royal Navy called Sam Glock.and he joined when he was 17 years old.

One of the kids, who was murdered, at the Columbine High School, was called Daniel Mauser. His father Tom is an active gun control supporter.

I met a german guy called Paul Walther and he loved the Walther brand of firearms-calling them one of the best firearms manufacturers in the world.

While not strictly gun-related...

...I do have a hyperactive Manx cat myself, and when going through the naming process, I was struck by her boundless bounce-off-the-walls energy and her tendency to bushwhack the other cat and the dogs, and decided to name her Banzai...

When my wife lets me get a dog I'm gonna name it LAUPUA!

Get a Spitz! That's how we call Mosin-Nagants that have 'ears' in their foresight.

what about gun parts?

We all know about 'Trigger' what about Extractor the cat, bolt the cat, spring the cat

How about "Beretta"? Good gun and the actor playing the TV hero with the same name actually shot someone (LA jury not withstanding).

ROTFLMAO, guys.

I see that there is no shortage of imagination among the THR gang. Best laugh I've had all day. :D

Is the kitty a female? How about Ma Deuce?

Is it prone to hissing and spitting? I do like the suggestion above: Arched Main Spring. Archie for short. (Which was also the Brits' nickname for German AA fire.)

Not declawed? Then it keeps and bears arms at all times: Second Amendment. Ammo for short.

If it's male, how about getting it neutered and calling him "Dud"?

Or "Hangfire" maybe?

"Shooting Blanks" would likely be a bit too wordy.

:D

This is Mauzer

26 pounds

From the top, he looks like a shoebox with fur.

My grandpa on my dad's side used to call me "Buckshot" and "Ramrod."

One of the members here has a daughter named Sig, a son named Colt, and a grandson named Remington.

Q) How hard is it to work a cat-related pun into gun names?

A) Very.

"Argh!! Kalashnicat!! Why have you left half a bird in my shoe!?!"

I just got a little kitten yesterday. Really precious. I named her muzels*.

I'm not sure I spelled it right but I meant like the gun barrell.

Have a solid gray male cat named "Stonewall". Wanted to name him Bob Lee but wife said it sounded too redneck. If the new baby we have on the way is a boy he's going to be Colton Smith. Already been teased about not naming my daughter Kimber.
