Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

The new Garmin Chrono is on its way. I've been wanting a chronograph for years now. The ones that require down range set up with shades and hoops seemed like a lot to mess with so I never did. I came so close to buying a magneto speed a number of times. The Labradar seemed to be the preferred mode but it too had drawbacks not the least of which was the price. I had the opportunity this week to buy something I wouldn't normally do for myself and took a chance on the Garmin. Looking forward to playing with the technology.

I just went a purchased this. For under $200 out the door and it comes with three magazines, it is a deal that can't be beat.

I already have a SD9VE, along with an original pre- Clinton AWB ban SW9F (very few made before the ban) and a GWB era made SW9VE.

Extra 16rd SD9 magazines cost on average between $32-$42 a pop. So, I basically paid $125 for the gun and it is in better condition than my original SD9VE.

Wow!!!!

It's been a little more than three days, but added a 98 Mauser bayonet from a regiment from which I have a rifle and a P 08. Different companies, but the same regiment. Also just finished translating the history of the regiment and now wading through the honor roll.

Currently in eastern Washington at my mother’s. Small LGS in town that I always stop at. Went in today and there were 5 boxes of CCI Small Rifle primers on the shelf but didn’t bite on them. $119 per brick. Did buy a pound of Longshot for $36.99.

I’ll probably go back and grab 1-2K before I head back home in a few days. I know it’s a steep asking price but he’s not a franchise and has to feed his family and pay those brick and mortar bills. Plus he treats his dog well. That goes a long way with me.

I’ll use them in some Brian Pearce inspired .327 FM loads.

Rear sight assembly for the PTR/HK-91 rifle.

My present rear sight's 'drum' suddenly got loose while rotating it between positions. This rifle's assembly (unlike on some PTRs) --never--required the specialized tool to enable rotation.
It's now held at the " 200 " with gorilla tape, but the idea of buying the Tool for the same price as a complete sight assembly didn't make sense'; with the tool you still would have needed delicate finesse to avoid loosing two Very Tiny springs, and with no idea what caused the sight to become too loose.

Yup, just snagged it. The gun alone goes for $319 before tax and background at my local Academy Sports and online it averages about $250-$260. But after shipping, transfer fee, tax, and background check fee. You're looking at $310-$320 give or take once it is all said and done. Plus, the cross-draw holster is another $65-$70.

I already have one of these in .357 Magnum, so having one in .45 Colt is fun too. Especially since I have a pile of .45 Colt revolvers!

So, I got the S&W SD9VE with three mags for $190 otd, followed by the 1937 made 5" Colt Official Police for $500 otd, and now this Bond Arms for $200 otd.

Another Rolling Block for my collection. An 1870's Sporting Rifle in .32-20 with modern MVA tang sight. Now the wait until it arrives!

The PWS MK116 PRO 16” upper in 5.56 came yesterday. I couldn’t resist the clearance price. I had everything needed to complete. Just waiting on a Griffin taper mount and warm temps at the range.

I never was an AR piston guy, but a good deal on an LMT, and a great deal on an 80’s Polish AKM mean I now have two long stroke and one short stroke rifles.
