I have pictures of my three new revolvers.

Ruger Bisley Blackhawk 5.5" Barrel .357 Magnum I picked up Thursday.

Colt King Cobra I picked up Friday when I went to the range to shoot the new Ruger.

And finally the S&W 686-2 8 3/8" barrel .357 Magnum I picked up this afternoon.

S&W 696, with grips by Don Collins and a Tom Dyer holster:

First 10 rounds out of the gun. The first two were the flyers on the right, as I got used to the grip. Everything in the middle followed:

Smith 647 .17hmr

New to the herd, but a sweet shot for sure! Anybody else here shoot a .17 revolver? I'm interested in comparing notes!

Here are my two Dan Wesson 357's:

I was too lazy to put the 6" blue barrel back on the blued gun.

Astra A-75 .40S&W

EAA Witness .45 ACP in Wonder finish

My newest. Picked this up this morning. SBH (New Model) .44mag 5 1/2". Used, but in real good shape. Actually this is my first non-smith&wesson revolver. Also my first single action. A single is something I never owned one of, but always had sort of a childish desire for. I don't know if it serves any real purpose for me, but I like looking at it, so that's reason enough, right ?

Other shots, same gun:

Here's a .38 Webley MKIII I got really, really cheap because someone way back shortened the barrel a bit. I had a guy add an old Colt-looking sight to it and it shoots great.

The 66 is from the first year of production when the members of my shift all decided to buy these guns to look alike and 'cool'. Naturally, we were split up to different shifts shortly after they arrived.

Contrary to looks, there is a square butt hiding under those Pachmyers. Also, I sent the book to Bill Jordan, who autographed it, as you can see.

The Doc is out now.

My only Revolver...

Circa 1903, Colt model 1901... My Grandpa's... used often. Handed down and shot with .38 special for it's life until I read up on it and discovered those are too hot for it.... so now I buy .38 Long Colt's which is the intended round. Not sure who started shooting the .38 Specials, but it was a long time ago :D
