My newest. Picked this up this morning. SBH (New Model) .44mag 5 1/2". Used, but in real good shape. Actually this is my first non-smith&wesson revolver. Also my first single action. A single is something I never owned one of, but always had sort of a childish desire for. I don't know if it serves any real purpose for me, but I like looking at it, so that's reason enough, right ?
Here is my favorite revolver.
Ruger .454 casull
Decided to show my custom single actions too.
My old Ruger Blackhawk two tone .357 and Ruger Blackhawk 3inch .45LC
Here's a .38 Webley MKIII I got really, really cheap because someone way back shortened the barrel a bit. I had a guy add an old Colt-looking sight to it and it shoots great.
The 66 is from the first year of production when the members of my shift all decided to buy these guns to look alike and 'cool'. Naturally, we were split up to different shifts shortly after they arrived.
Contrary to looks, there is a square butt hiding under those Pachmyers. Also, I sent the book to Bill Jordan, who autographed it, as you can see.
Circa 1903, Colt model 1901... My Grandpa's... used often. Handed down and shot with .38 special for it's life until I read up on it and discovered those are too hot for it.... so now I buy .38 Long Colt's which is the intended round. Not sure who started shooting the .38 Specials, but it was a long time ago
