Well that's sad. Then again, I doubt it'll ever leave the first or second page of threads.

Ruger

I bought this Ruger New Model Super BlackHawk 7-1/2" 44 mag used back in 1983. I gave $200 for gun, holster and shellbelt!

Hi steveracer,

You'd asked -

Oyeboten, what's that model? I've never seen a pre-model 10 with four inch tube and round butt like that. Nice.

Thank you..!

It's a 'Military & Police', Model of 1905, 3rd Change, .38 S & W Special...made 1910 or maybe 1911...so, older than the items it is shown with, if 'timeless' in it's way...

I think the old four-inch, round butts are my favorite...but all the old 'M&P's are of course smooth, high-quality, elegant and charming Revolvers, whatever their configuration.

This Thread has some nice representatives of them here and there, too...

Newly purchased 586-5. I'm still waiting to get a letter from Smith about the history of it, but the folks over at Smith-Wesson Forum tell me its a pretty rare configuration made for Lew Horton. I replaced the round butt rubber Hogue's for some round to square conversions.
