Im in too! have owned many 1911s at this time i only have two springfield champion, and a full size loaded, dont you just hate it when someone says( HEY THE HAMMERS COCKED !) :D CSA
 
And Finally

This is a 1925 Commercial Government Model...which is neither 1911 nor 1911A1. It has most of the A1 improvements...but it wasn't to become the US Army Model of 1911A1 for some time.

Count me in...In over my head, that is.

Joined this past weekend

If my memory is right, I sold it to a guy that lives a couple of miles east of me. He then in turn sold or traded it to a guy that lives a couple miles west of me...that guy would be 1911tuner. I'm not sure where it resides now.

They are not Colts, but they are not bad for 1/2 the money. Both of my RIA's are .38 Supers. I had another that developed some problems. RIA replaced that one. I've not shot the replacement one yet. 1911tuner checked it out and said everything looked good and in spec.

The first one I got has had no issues.

I do prefer larger sights than the RIA's I have are wearing...I prefer the 3-dot sights on the Springfield .38 Super.

Gee- I only have one... a blued S.A. Loaded. It's a honey. It also looks used, but certainly not abused. I consider it "character"!

Here ya go - nothin' that special:slightly worked Colt and a stock Para.

I got a Sgt. Rock sticky dart .45 for my 6th birthday and decided the 1911 was the greatest thing ever so it was my favorite gun for 15 years-before I'd ever even held a real one!I like the 1911's for what they are but for my practical uses,modern designs work better for me.They're lots of fun to shoot and there's no denying they do shoot quite well,but I'm happier carrying a Glock 19.

I'm not big on clubs, but I'm in with a pre-Kahr AO 1911A1.

Not the best money can buy, but it's mine, and it works (Well, it doesn't work right now, 'cause the extractor hook sheared off; got a Wilson in the mail.), and it was my 16th birthday present.
