Here's my contribution with an M60 and an ergo grip

What I'm seeing is 10x,10,10,10,9,9,,8,8,8,8 , looks like four in the 8 ring in that mass group and two on the line between the 8 and 10 ring? which would be a score of 90

Good shooting. Woke up decided not to go today. my eye is still healing from the cyst removed off my eyelid , so maybe next weekend I'll get a couple targets posted.

Riomouse the Colt and Ruger SP101 dId really well what was your point of aim, 6 o'clock or center of bulls or what? The Ruger LCP II did well also I like Fiocchi ammo for handgun but not so much for rifle.

That was my first target with the gun. My next I adjusted my point of aim a little left and had my first 9 all in the black, but the 10th really opened up the group, I liked the tighter group, and that it was the first 10 shots with that firearm in several months, so seemed more legitimate. I think I'll have an opportunity with a 2" model 10 next week, this is fun, and for all those reading, you should try it.

dang - that's a lot of targets already - with the bar set pretty high already - but I'm still in!!!

PS: from a previous post, it sounds like you've got even more up your sleeve - any hints?

There is a lot we can do, would like to get a .22 15yd and 25yd challenge going, a full size 4" to 6" service pistol going, single action "old west" gun going, maybe even a military surplus handgun going, but don't want to do too many at once and there is still the rifle challenges as well.

OK, thanks for the reply.
Looks like a busy summer! :D

This is not a submission just a idea of what I I'd like to see what my CZ 50 will do with the B-3 target , these pics are what I did as a test with 7 shots at 15 yds with a 25 yd B-16 target where I held a 6 o'clock hold on the orange, the Fiocchi gets right in the center so I am curious to see how I do at 10 yds with a B-3. Want to test my grand dads 1962 Colt Detective special also.

You can use bought B-3 targets also, I'm probably going out this weekend to submit a couple guns, had a cyst removed off my eyelid two days ago my eye is black and puffed but I should be able to perform. K frame 3 inch .357 is pushing the limits of size but I will in the future start a different challenge that it can be used in a service pistol challenge

so how is the eye doing?

It was a six o’clock hold with all of the guns I shot. The black bull sits perfectly right on top of the hi viz red dot (Colt) or the orange post (SP) and LCP2.

I painted the FEG and LC9 fronts white then blaze orange when I cleaned them on Sunday. Man it makes a world of difference!

In my experience the Fiocci .380 and 9mm ammo is good stuff, works well and it’s usually the least expensive fmj practice ammo at my local retailers. Their rimfire is ok in my book, and their .223 is good to plink away with. I haven’t used any of their other stuff.

Stay safe!

Finally, a postal shoot I can shoot in! Hope this can keep going, and goong, and going.....

Haven't shot yet, just found this; but I will this week at the range.

Was out testing some reloads today so I thought I'd play the 10 yard challenge while I was at it. Top pic is the Baby Rock, next is the Shield 9mm and last is the Shield 45. I was very surprised at the 45's accuracy with 185gn XTPs. Usually the XTPs are more accurate at higher velocities but these averaged 685fps across the chrono.

Great contest idea. I’m in! I’ll be at the range this weekend with my S&W Chief’s Special.

Nice shooting BC17 so help me here make sure I'm correct the baby rock I'm seeing 10x, 10,10,10,10,10,9,9,9,8 which would be 95, Shield 9mm I'm seeing 10x,10x,10,10,10,10,10,9,8,8 which would be 95, the shield .45 I'm seeing 10x,10x,10x,10x,10x.10,10,10,9,9 which would be 98.

What was your aiming point? Dang man I might have to a shield if they are like that lol.

I count 10X,10,10,10,9,9,9,9,8,7 which comes out to 91 , good shooting FFM

Figuire of a man I'm adding a point to your score up to 92. I had said that if a hole is on the line it goes to the next number up, had meant if it is center on the line but now we will consider a hole on the line period the next number up after trying to score targets. If in the end two members have the same score the amount of X they have will hopefully break any tie.

so how is the eye doing?

getting better suppose to be nice this weekend gonna try to get out there. I have a history of skin cancer I don't mind scars but when it gets on my face and especially close to eye well that freaks me out but so far I haven't heard any results from lab report I think hopefully it was just a cyst that started three weeks ago on my eye lid.

Mods please this thread is doing well can we get a sticky on this match please so people will get a chance to enter better thanks

Thanks lk,
The Shields are great shooters, and the 45 really is that much better than the 9. I normally practice anywhere from 10 to 15 yards and use +P factory ammo or full power reloads but these were all reloads with a near minimum charge so they shot very soft. Point of aim was on the bullseye for all three. Just for grins I shot the same target with my new Tristar S120 (CZ clone). 17 rounds at 12 yards, I know, doesn't count.

After a few face-palm events, I submit this my first target in this challenge. :

I had shot really good target for submission yesterday, but as I was getting ready to submit and scoring it, I counted 11 holes!
Back to the drawing board.....
Today I went to my filing cabinet, and pulled two more targets, posted and shot both. They were both acceptable but I soon discovered that they were both 50 ft slow fire targets.....wrong targets!.....back to the drawing board.....
After my third attempt, I finally have a pretty ordinary target for score.
Hopefully my next submission will be better.

So I shot two targets, scored 89 firing double action, then did much better with 94 firing single action which, I dunno, seems to be against the spirit of the thing with a DA snub:D. I will leave it up to the OP as to which one to count:

This whole contest is kind of against the spirit of CCW guns which is one of the things that makes it fun. This type of "bullseye" shooting with pocketable guns is certainly not their intended purpose. But it's a hoot. I'm going to try your DA/SA thing with my model 10 snub if I can find a load it likes with my weird old bevel base 148s. Kinda mixed results so far.

My Kahr CW45 has a 3.64" barrel. It's not a pocket pistol, but it's definitely a CC piece. Does it qualify?

That's a tricky one, I'm looking at it on this site link, frame wise I think it qualifies but it has a huge grip. I had said the Sig 225 is too big based on 1K saying he thought it was too big and it's his gun, let me ponder that one a bit and I'll make a decision.
