I shot one of those last month in in the surplus pistol challenge. Mine seems to give decent “service pistol” accuracy, but it doesn’t shoot like a target pistol. Which is a little surprising to me. I was expecting it to do better with its fixed barrel. Not that it shot poorly. I was just expecting more.

I also thought it might have been my reloads. The little .32 caliber bullets are so short, they barely fit down into the neck of the case. That makes it easy to get a bullet to seat not quite straight. So I was blaming it somewhat on that (on myself), but then I shot some factory ammo and got about the same level of accuracy. So far I’ve run Aguila, Win White Box, and CCI Blazer, all with 71gr. JHP. The CCI was the most accurate of the bunch.

Got yourself one of those Beretta 81 huh. Nice, was really thinking hard of getting one still might but I need to tone down my spending for a while. I really have gone full blast on guns&ammo this year.

Yep, I really like it - fun & easy on my arthritic hands.
I debated for quite a while, and read a number of reviews, then caved in & got one.
Mine is VG +, almost looks unfired... :)

Something about .32 I like, while I only have one so far a CZ 50 I picked up 20 years ago and can't say if they all shoot good but mine does. I will have to see if I have Fiocchi ammo left if so I might try it one handed for this thread. I thought about entering it in the surplus challenge but already had in the pocket pistol challenge so I didn't . The targets in this thread link was at 10 yards not 15 yards I gave wrong info

it usually does a bit better, but it appears this ammo is not a good choice - oh well

well I remembered to take the bag of handguns today but didn't have time, spent five hours shooting rifles, too many challenges, too many guns, not enough time lol, but will get a few one handed in before the end

I wasn’t going to buy any more guns for a while. But then I found a Ruger Single Six chambered in .32 H&R Mag the other day and changed my mind. So then I had to buy loading dies, brass and bullets. And then of course I had to start working up some loads for it. And having Veteran’s Day off I thought it would be a perfect time to go shoot them over the chronograph. I figured it would also be a great opportunity to shoot some targets for this challenge at the same time.

And then winter decided to arrive.

So I went shooting anyway. I had to keep cleaning the sensors on my chronograph because the snow kept blocking them off. But I got most of the shots recorded. I have a plastic tote in the back of my car to keep stuff somewhat organized, and I had to lay the lid on top of my stuff to keep it from all getting dusted with snow while I shot. Here’s what it looked like during a break in the white stuff falling.

I only shot at 10 yards today. I’ll have to go back and get a 15-yard target at some point. At the end of the day, my best effort came from some Berry’s 78 gr. HBWC bullets loaded in .32 S&W Long brass.

As long as I was out, I brought along my .45 Blackhawk. I had a handful of rounds that I’d loaded and needed to shoot up. There were enough for just one group. So here’s what I had.

Finally did some targets will post soon, I want to do more at 15 yards but not sure I will have the time.

S&W K22 that use to be my dads, the grip holding it one hand is not as comfortable as the Ruger MK1, one handed I do prefer the Ruger
