What pistol gives you an unfair advantage?

While I shoot all my handguns reasonably well, I tend to shoot my 3 inch S&W 686+ really well, and pretty dang fast. I just handle that gun well and feel very confident with it.

The grip suits me really well, and I can unload it on a pie plate target at 10 yards pretty fast. Sorry, no shot timer, so no split times to share. I just shoot that gun well. Anyone attacking me while I'm carrying THAT particular gun is going to have a very bad day.

I wouldn't call it unfair, but it stands out among my carry guns as one I see as advantageous.

If I could find them I'd carry .380 Magsafe cartridges in my PPK/s. The unfair advantage is my knowing that I'm carrying concealed and the bad guy/gal not knowing if I am or mot.

I beg to differ. Getting it right isn't cheating or even almost like it.. It is getting it right.

Absolutely. Remember the old saying "All's fair in love and war"? Anytime I'm attacked and in danger I consider it an act of war. Thankfully I never have been but the chance is always there and I'll use any means I have to respond and consider it a "fair" response.

Remember the other old saying "A fair fight is hitting him with whatever you are big enough to pick up and use"? That goes too. Maybe a 1911?

For me, being a non-pro and a non-gamer, it is the pistol that is quick into action and does not demand a lot of manipulations out of me while I am fighting off alligators with my free hand. Could be a DA revolver but I prefer carrying a slimmer semi-auto. So a Glock or a true DA auto with no thumb safety.

As the saying goes, "if there's a fair fight, it means I was unprepared." If I knew I was going to a gunfight, I'd go somewhere else. My first choice would be my G19, even though I carry my Shield most days.

Not really going anywhere but in circles. No offense but that's all folks.
