Wow! Way to run that BHP Zim! That was fantastic!

And Adam, nothing about that was easy and it bites that you didn't get a second chance at redemption.

SEE

I still aint got anything good to say about this show,so I been minding my own business .

BUT it would be justice if Chris won as he is the only one I take seriously.

Tough break Adam. Thats a hard challenge. Youre a worthy competitor and truly an all-star. Grats on making it as far as you did.

Oh, and you have no idea what Id give for a chance to play that round.:)

Boy that was quick.
Hate to see Adam and Pete go but Gunny sure earned his place.
Well thought out sequence and great shooting by both Pete and Gunny.

Hard to feel sorry at all for someone that got to shoot a Hotchkiss:D but I wish Adam had made it further. I'm sure he would like to have participated in the upcoming MG challenge.

I have a soft spot for Valley Forge and his style so with Pete gone I'll need to pick new shooter to root for.

Looking forward to next week.

Great Episode! but I am very sorry to see Adam and Pete go, the two I've been rootin' for! Looks like I'm rootin' for Chris now. The Hi-Power zip-chair looked so fun, I want to do that all day!

I finally just watched it.

I am pretty bummed, I don't want to see anyone go. At first I was not a Pete fan at all. When Kelly told me about him and I watched him, I really started to like the dude. Adam? What is there not to like about him? Dang.

William was awesome on that wheel. He is a machine. And Gunny? All I can say is I want to be like him.

That's the first time William really impressed me. He's been the 'sleeper' contestant up until now.

Yes, it was an unfortunate and sudden ending for me. I would have really liked a chance to go to proving grounds and final elimination like everyone else. But sometimes the show throws you a curve. Still had way more fun this time around and got to shoot some new and very cool weapons (MRAD and the Hotchkiss Cannon above all !!)

Weird feeling to have to relive my demise, though. This was all filmed a year ago, and you have to go through it all again with friends and family when it airs on TV.

But to be honest, I had a good run... better than expected. I haven't really shot serious competitions since 2005 when I gave it up to pursue bow hunting. And with just a couple weeks notice, I didn't have great hopes of winning this time around.

That said, I did achieve all my goals: Was not the first one voted off, lasted longer than the girl, made a really long sniper shot, won a head to head elimination for the $2k Bass Pro card, and won a main event challenge (shotguns). The other guys were at the top of their game, and I kind of saw the writing on the wall. Though I REALLY would have like to get into the 'choose your weapon - choose your shot' challenge in next episode ~!!

In the end, I figure there is a life lesson in all this.... you might win or you might lose an event, but the really important thing is to enjoy your time on the giant spinning wheel !! ;)

If I recall correctly Gunny has cracked under pressure in the past, I didn't expect him to beat Pete. He proved me wrong, I was impressed with his intense determination on the zip.

Did you catch Gunny's comment at the Proving Ground with the M1-A? When the guys asked him where his shot went he said disgustedly, "Down there by Colby's foot!"

I too was a little surprised and quite impressed with his performance on the zipline.

Congratulations to Adam on one helluva run. My crowd was pulling for you to win it all but as you said, a simple twist in the show didn't allow a chance for redemption. Even so, you got to experience something that any person on this forum would LOVE to do, and you made some spectacular shots in the process. Being considered an "All-Star" is quite an honor in and of itself. In addition, your insight here at THR has provided an extra dimension to watching the show and, at least in my opinion, has made it even more enjoyable. Did you make good use of your $2k Bass Pro card?

I have to say, there are some shooters remaining in this season that I didn't think would survive this long, and some folks have gone home much earlier than I expected. I'll echo what others have said here in that this season has been the most enjoyable to date. Looking forward to finding out who came home with the cash and the boat.

Bleh. I just watched it on DVR and I intentionally stayed away from this thread until then. My favorite guy AND the guy nice enough to give us great insider insights (plus, another Marine) gone.

I am rooting for Gunny, but honestly, I like all the guys shooting. Gary seems like a genuinely good guy, Chris Cerino is awesome, and I find myself saying "hey diddle diddle, right down the middle" once in awhile. Phil has a great beard. Still, Gunny or Gary is who I am pulling for now.

For those without cable or iStuff, you can watch this on Hulu, as well. They have the last few episodes up at any given time.

Great run, Adam.

Hard to root for anyone at this point. All are excellent.

Adam, good luck on whatever you will be doing, that was one hell of a run. Really enjoyed the show and yes it sucked on the change they put in place last week.

Nice going.
Jim

Man, Chris has some BIG hands. That Lightning looked like a toy in his mitts.

What an odd choice of handgun to have to shoot a bull's eye.
