Top shot show on History

Yeah, I wonder if the shooters were told that the elevation was already dialed in? It had to be, since they were all off on windage but not any on elevation.

I think if you didn't know how it was sighted, the best thing to do would have been to hold center of target and fire it like a sighter, watching for feedback. It looked like it had a mil dot reticle, so it should have been easy enough to spot the dirt splash and hold that much off to get a hit on the second shot. It was a pretty big target... 30 inches.

I just watched the show on my DVR, Jamie and Gunny topped George in the 50 cal shot, wow! George sure looked pissed, lol! What's George's beef with Jamie, is it just because he's in the Navy and not a Marine? That's extremely shallow and arrogant. George is coming across like a really arrogant a-hole, I'd love to see Jamie or Ashley send him home, that'd be an ego check.

Storz, thanks for posting Jamie's remarks. As far as the whole "reality TV" thing goes and all the drama that ensues (or is portrayed to ensue), that's why I watch the show on hulu.com, so I can skip all the sceming and drama. I also feel the need to thank the History Channel for allowing the latest episodes to air on hulu.

One thing I learned from the last episode: those .50 cal. bullets were traveling "faster than the speed of sound"

I was laughing my ass off on that one! hahahaha.... really! the speed of SOUND!!!!!!

I haven't read any of this thread except the last couple pages. I've had a lot of episodes on myDVR that I just got around to watching.

My observations are that this season sucks compared to the last mainly because the producers picked too many jack asses. ESP George!! What a jack hole. Being confident is one thing but he is just a punk. He acts and looks like he has been hitting the ROIDS!

I would like to see TopShot revamped. I really think all the added drama will just force the show down into "reality" TV anonymity.

With such staggering figures as to firearms owners in the US, you'd think TopShot could have been a real hit, pardon the pun.

I'd also like to see a "Women's Only" Top Shot because under the current rules of play, there is no way a woman could overcome the "boys" attitudes and avoid elimination. They would never be able to accept the fact that a mere woman could outshoot them!

There's only women left now.

We should support this show.

Hulu's TV subsection includes 'Top Shot' on its revolving promotion banner. We never get advertising like this.

This is probably the first TV show in the last two generations that depicts firearms in a positive light.

I'm imagining a whole new group of people ranting about the contestants, and thinking "Wow, guns are cool!".

I think if George is as great as he thinks he is, that he should of had the others vote for him and Jamie, so that he could get rid of Jamie himself in the elimination challenge!

Instead he leaves it up to someone else to take care of.

Too much drama and not enough shooting for me. Luv my TiVo !!!

I might have to disagree with you stanmo - but that was funny!!!

I think Brian Zins is in a class by himself, and I hope he wins the whole thing.

:pA"womens only" Top-Shot ?? Really ?? The show is already overflowing with drama,, Now you would have them add female-hormones to the mix ?? Great, now i can watch the contestants cry for each other when they get eliminated,,,

So do they just hate Jamie because they don't know what he does and they were making up in their mind what he did, and wanted to project a keyboard commando persona on him?

I don't care what Jamie did....none of the guys left have any integrity. Least of all George and Ashley

Well I loved this episode! Jamie and Joe stayed cool and shut the punks up. I hope Ashley isn't responsible for too much wherever he goes, I wouldn't want him watching my back.
